Round up! 11th of June – Al Ain On Road 1/10 electric and Nitro Race

The UAE RC season may have officially ended with the expected arrival of the hot middle eastern summer (+40c), yet the appetite to continue racing has been so big from our growing community w

We claim the season officially ended and expected the hot middle eastern summer (+47 Celcius) would turn most people off and slow things down. It turns out we were wrong, and all the momentum created over the past year has just grown our number of enthusiasts asking for more of the same and more Nitro. With that in mind took on the attempt to run a race at the Binona track at the Al Ain Sportsplex this past Friday, and the turnout was EPIC despite the majority of drivers requiring to take COVID-19 tests to cross the border from Dubai towards Abu Dhabi. That, in my view, proves our case for growth in Enthusiasts.

This past Friday, 11th of June, both the known Binona guard and several of our new drivers who joined over the past year met for a late evening race across both 1/10 Electric and Nitor Touring cars. It was also the first time the Binona RC Track was in since the pandemic, making this event even more special.

Huge thanks to the 25 drivers and support from RC-ME.com Hamad 640 teams, and of course, our Binona RC crew for making this a great experience.
